Our Kapa Haka Groups in Action!
We are so lucky to have Whaea Sue lead our Kapa Haka learning. Our enthusiastic students are doing a fabulous job of learning new waiata and haka in these sessions!
Did you know that we have TWO Kapa Haka groups at Wakari School? Our Middle and Senior syndicate children form our Tuakana Group and our Junior learners make up our Teina group. This year our Kapa Haka sessions started at the beginning of Term 2 and both groups are embracing their new learning with gusto!
